I make things, and these are the things.
Photographs from the road, a fantasy world I'm telling one chapter at a time, and the tools I build to think with. Three different things I can't seem to stop doing.

From the road and the wild
Travel, landscape, and wildlife, collected over years of going places and actually paying attention when I got there.

Velruneth, a world told in serial
Velruneth is a world I've been carrying around for years, and now I'm writing it down. Echoes of the Void is book one, going up chapter by chapter as I finish each one. Start reading below, or follow along on Substack and get them as they land.

Echoes of the Void
Book one of Velruneth. A cold, slow descent into a force that doesn't destroy so much as absorb, and the people who decide to walk toward it anyway. New chapters go up on Substack as I finish them.

Shorts Companion shorts
The Wonder Inn
Standalone short stories set at a strange, warm inn that sits a little outside of time. Each one walks a character through the door, gives them a night that matters, and sends them back out with no memory of the place. You don't need the books to read them.

Tales from Velruneth ships chapter by chapter on Eric’s Substack.

Tools I build to think with
These are the things I build when the tool I want doesn't exist yet, or exists but annoys me. Most started as a personal itch and turned into something I use every day now. None of it's for sale. Building the thing is usually how I figure out what I actually think about it.

ericteichmiller.com
The site you're reading this on. It started as three separate sites and I folded them into one, where the photography, the writing, and the building each get their own corner without me babysitting three codebases. Built with Astro, no CMS, every page edited by hand.
-
The Archivist's Pane
A panel I built into Obsidian that shows me what my agents are working on in real time, which projects are open, what's still in draft, and how my memory is wired together. It turned a pile of notes into something closer to a mission control.
-
A personal agent system
My personal Coglin Army. A handful of AI agents that each specialize in something, hand work off to each other, and share one memory so I'm not re-explaining myself every time. Most of what gets made around here passes through it at some point, including parts of this site.
-
A personal CRM
A command center I built to run relationships end to end: account health, renewals, the at-risk list, the day's tasks, and the meetings stitched to each account. I got tired of holding all of that across five different tools, so I built the one screen I actually wanted to look at.
